Opium Day

Opium Day

A Poem by KGV
"

It was one of those "I suck" days.

"

Call me Achilles heel, a weakened stranger.
Am I an orphan in the gutter?
Oh my, I put the gore in gorgeous.
All it takes is one look from me to make you shudder.
My hugs? Oh, could they not be so forced?
I should’ve done something, but f**k, I’ve done too much.
These words are as coarse as my demeanor.
The cello? My crutch.

I’m screaming for something..
