In the Shadow of the Towers

In the Shadow of the Towers

A Poem by caitlin
"

Just a short piece about 9/11 and the twin towers, the whole piece is pretty much just one big metaphor for what happened.

"
In the shadow
Of the towers
There is a graveyard
Where calla lilies grow
And where the skin and bones
That once enclosed
Innocent souls
Now lie.

I totally got the metaphor here and I'm shocked no one has reviewed this. It was a tragic day in our country and will never be forgotten. Great poem that deserves more reviews.
