Shield of Weeping Ghosts

I wrote this for a contest on Allpoetry. We had to pick five or more books and base our poem around the titles of the books we picked. The books used and authors of the books are listed after the poem

There is a place
Known as the hiding place
Where innocents hide
From the unseen that lurk
In the shadow of evil,
A place
Where sorcerers of the nightwing
Watch from behind the twisted window
Waiting to make their victims
A part of the shield of weeping ghosts.
