The lies that bloom
Within my mind
How sweet the truth when told in time

Like amazing grace
You want the taste
Of how it feels to hide
Behind a wall
Because you know it all
Where no one can ever
Pry

I hide from you
I lie to me
And sometimes I even believe
The lies I've told
Because I'm good
At lying to even me

So don't ask me
To speak honestly
When honesty
Doesnt make you
Believe me anyway

You want the truth
That you cannot bear
So screw the truth
When your lies are there

Double standard
Perfection scheme
You want me to be something
That I wasnt born to be

Your sound bite
stereotype
Doesn't get to me
Like you'd Like

So get out my face
I won't be you
I won't do something
Because you told me to
I am me
Now you see
So f*** you
