Broken Wings

Here’s to the angels with the broken wings,
Those that still continue to sing,
Although they can no longer persist to fly,
Through the endless, glorious sky,
They choose to fall down to us,
In them we now seek to trust,
To look for help, or faith, or hope,
Anything to help us cope,
Tears of angels with the broken wings,
Those that still continue to sing,
Here on earth they choose to stay,
And guide us on our challenged way.
