Spotless

Spotless

A Poem by Travis Ralston aka LIAR
"

Wanting to back to a better time.

"

Come on now
Let's go
Before it starts to rain
We can walk down
Main street
And reminisce about when we were young
I will try to stay quiet
So I can listen to your every word
And I will hold your hand
If you let me

We can go back to where it started
There it can begin again
If you let me, I will take us
To the time when we made each other smile
You'd give me sweets and I'd give you roses
Just for the sake of doing so

We were happy
In our own way
Nothing but friends with compassion
Just some care about one another
You'd pick me up and we'd drive
And laugh until our sides hurt
I'd be feeling pins and needles
Just knowing that you were at the door

So come on now
Let's go
Before it all disappears
We can go back
To that night when
I first said hello
It'd be different
That I promise
