April's Road

April's Road

A Poem by Travis Ralston aka LIAR
"

Some lyrics about a past love.

"

Been here before
But not quite like this
We're two different souls
Lost after a kiss
You said it didn't matter
I said I didn't care
But where are you now
Yeah, where are you now

I walked down april's road
And never felt alone
Until the day you waved me off
And never spoke my name again

At one time this was different
A scene stitched from hope
But I tore it down and burned it up
It melted with your snow
The world seemed so different
Like the mirror had been turned
The light you once stood in
Burned out some time ago

I walked down april's road
And never felt alone
Until the day you waved me off
And never spoke my name again

I really enjoyed this, the line it melted with your snow........ that is incredible. One of my favorite lines.
