Noise

Noise

A Poem by Travis Ralston aka LIAR
"

Not sure how to describe this.

"

Bask in no light
Rock softly back and forth
On a rotten wooden floor
While tears crawl down your face
Like little spiders made of glass
And when you look inside them
Your reflection disappears
Leaving only the hopes that never saw life
And the sorrows that are only seen in fantasy

Inject the waste of humanity into the arm of choice
Watch as your eyes cloud and your brain smiles
Hear the echo of a million hearts beating
Thump, thump
Wave farewell to the people who don't know your name
Or where you even came from
March down the street made from stone
And in your ultimate shame, try to remember
All the things you ever wanted to do
The places you wanted to see and the people you
Wanted to love

When you can no longer crawl outside
And the hole you've dug is filling in
The dark is the only company you'll have
Thump, your heart beats
And the only thing wanting you back is silence
The mind makes mistakes and the masses feel nothing
So run to the end of the world
To see that you're just like everyone else
