A Sight to Keep

This is an environmental song as well as poem...

Stars twinkle alight

Just like jewels so bright

Shining with various shadows

And shapes, rings, amid the glow

 

The grass wet with dew

Smooth and hypnotic with awe

Breathe so hard with the sight of a rainbow

The colors are magnificent, eyes would glow

 

The rivers flow, mild and gentle

Sea waves crashing, like to wrestle

Sea animals crawled and crept for delight

With the cool breeze and wonderful sight

 

Thank the heavens for this wonderful world

Gaze upon the universe vast and cold

Let’s do our best to save and keep it

Hoping for a better place to live in
