Free with a Plan

A religious poem

God has showed me a new me,

He forgives and sets me free.

Whenever I need to talk he is there,

He is the best when it comes to care.

Even though people in the world don't see,

God has a promise that is meant to be.

I know he will keep to his promise, that I trust.

Unlike people on earth who are full of lust.

The only man to trust is the lord,

for it is his son's blood that was poured.

Just so we can live and have eternal life,

forgiving us no matter the strife.

All we have to do is ask,

Is that such a hard task?

I hope that he works in me to help me be strong,

for it's God who showed me I was wrong.

Now it's time for me to shape up and go where he has planned,

no matter the distance, even if into a different land.

If the call is there, I'll be there.

Just like God is there for me anytime, anywhere.

I hope that God shows me what is right,

and stay away from things that will make me fight.

Happiness and joy has filled my heart.

Even though, we are a world apart.

God has a plan for me,

That is what makes me happy.
