Rusty SpoonA Poem by Gitana Deneff
I told him what I wanted.
He took a spoon and carved my heart out. Threw it in his soup of despair, hurt, and confusion. It was the missing ingredient. The rusty spoon leaves fragments in my soul. Your poison lingers, Puts a curse on my mind. You claim I don't care. But I think the problem Is that I cared too much About you... that I forgot About me.
