What is it like to rule the world?A Poem by The Waterlily PadVOLUME 1
My tales would enthrall you because I'm that individual:
Envied by all. That illusion of all majesty. It's on my head, It's in my straight posture And high neck, It's in my confident step, it's in the rhythm of my lips, It's in my royal blood, But a curse encased in but a kiss! To bad it's not my fate that lies, A destiny most ignorantly deprived, Opposite attracts so fatefully, I find that my foe is indeed not an enemy... It's my subconscious teacher. The world is beneath my feet but- I hardly know of it, A crave for life in lustful lungs of Breath. A relief. To give my time a space for grief. What is it like to rule the world? Everything you wanted (you can have)? Then why, Tell me why, My face is blank, No emotions played, On that sad eye, Hope is everything, No care if you die. Because your trapped anyway, You have money, But nothing that can free you can you really buy, Is there? © 2015 The Waterlily PadAuthor's Note
