Doll

Doll

A Poem by Caitlin
"

Choose for me, decide what I may do.

"

Brush back my hair gentle or rough as you please;

Style it up or down

Dress me or undress me;

Never on my face will you see a frown.

Create storylines, plots, of who I am

And everything I do.

Special jobs and special friends

All my life dictated by you.

Prop me up to a mirror

So that I can see myself

Just don't get annoyed with me

I'm content just not sitting on a shelf

Will you swivel my leg the tiniest bit,

Stand me up more straight?

It all lies in your two hands

The decision of my fate.
