Why?

just wrote this in the spur of the moment i'll spiff it up later.

Why is this feeling here,

what can it mean,

are you gonna leave me,

is it all gonna end,

its a feeling i hate,

i hate when its near,

ever time its felt,

bad seems to be coming,

around the corner,

down the street,

either way its close,

so close its knocking at your door,

its barging through,

destroying everything,

everything you once cherished,

now only pieces remain,

can they be put back together,

questions swam in your mind,

what happened,

will it change,

how and why,

the only thing i can say,

hearts will stray,

keep yours true,

i love you,

it may be hard to see,

but i'm here to stay,

so stay here with me?

NIce rhythm, but i didn't find a particular line that really stood out. Keep writing and maybe fifty years from now someone out there will recite a line and say, "I'm quoting Niki."
