Ugly.

Ugly.

A Poem by Nicola Taylor

I don't know you,
but I will dissect you
into a bask more humid or less than I
and I will pretend that I know you
and who you are and who your shadows make you

medicated,
full of capsuled glory,
perfect powdered picture,
tied, and tired blaming
yourself or each other
or other such human things

it's kind of all the same
and you are like me
because people
are only
a
peep hole

even the foggy eyed
and sea salt faced
who bring in the
pollution every morning.
