I put in "wishful" because I am, in fact, wishful for it. And for that, I think it's a tad insane, if not even disturbing. Thus, "wishful insanes." I really can't change any of it, or it wouldn't be true. Before anything else, art or otherwise, I wish for my poetry to be truthful.

I would changes the last word to something more concrete, like decay, echoes, resonance...and so on.
And for goodness sake take out the word 'wishful'. Nothing in life appears to be wishful. We may ponder from time to time, but we are responsible for our own choices.
Personally I feel that words like wishful, hopefully, someday, tend to make the writer appear to be living in "if only" land. Forgive me if I'm too harsh, I'm just a firm believer that writing can be original and beautiful without getting sentimental. That seven letter word is on the verge of being a little soppy in my opinion.
