Story of a GirlA Chapter by LostinKristinaOld, comment if you like.
I am going to tell you the story of a girl
Who stood in front of a mirror every day for hours Trying to figure out who she is What she sees is never pretty She stood there bloody and torn Not knowing how much more she could take To her everything seemed pointless There was no wonderland inside her head She just kept looking through the glass wondering if it was to much to ask Please just break me, make me even more incomplete I'm so tired of looking at you, and having you look back at me I don't desire to live this life anymore My life has just become a nightmare You can see through me, oh why can't you hear me scream Why can't you see that the girl in the mirror is me? I'm going to tell you the story of a girl Filled with nothing but darkness, she's soaked with fear She cries with as she stands there Wondering if he really cares The looking glass holds no temptation When her world is in devastation She keeps on looking through the glass With just enough courage to ask Shatter me please? I'm so tired of looking at you and having you stare back at me I have no will what-so-ever to survive This is no place for me, it's a nightmare See me open wide, and hear me scream Oh why can't you see that the girl in the mirror is me The world is spinning fast Yet she just stands there looking in on the looking glass Knowing her pain will never pass Until she finds something to last She raises her fist and suddenly there's a crash She smiles at you crookedly and broken through the looking glass © 2012 LostinKristina |
