outside the box

the world is in a box these days

everyone thinking the same thoughts

living the same lives

afraid to say the wrong thing

afraid to stand out.

expressionless

emotionless

purposeless

what kind of life is this?

they are all the same

afraid to speak their minds

afraid of being different.

 

here i am

breaking the mold

stepping out of the box

and being myself.

I imagine they aren't emotionless if they're afraid, but in all a good write. It's always good to be who you want to be instead of who others want you to be.
