The Fairy GardenA Poem by xmfameThe Fairy Garden by xmfame The only time I felt alive, Was when I was lost in the fairy garden. When the bluebells swayed in the gentle Breeze of the warm summer air, And their sweet aroma sifted through the Garden, freeing tiny particles of glitter From their soft petals to Shimmer in the sun beams that Illuminate the garden.
I came about the most majestic Fountain pond. The light rain dripped tiny water Droplets that modestly gleamed as they Would catch the light of the sun beams, And trickle against the crystal clear fountain water, As the stone waterfall cascaded onto the tall rocks, Sheltered by the vibrant green moss, And the Rainbow fish swam tranquilly under The water ripples.
Exotic creatures reside in the fairy Garden. Like tiny insects that flutter graciously In the delicate breeze to paint the pulsating Colours that sparkle in nature. In the distance, I saw an elegant Cherry Tree, That stood tall and hung low with the drooping solemnity Of the Willow. The effervescent pink and purple blossoms, Grew darker with the setting sun. And the sky turned a fervent Purple and orange with streaks of white running across the darkening horizon.
Life in the garden started to settle. The fluttering wings of the creatures calmed to Soft hums and eventually, disappeared with the sun beams. The bluebells no longer emitted their sugary scent, And became motionless to the gentle cool breeze. The fountain pond soothed the air, leisurely dripping Drops of dew into the water creating waves For the Rainbow fish to swim under and be the only creatures awake, In the fairy garden.
