I Speak My Fears

I Speak My Fears

A Poem by xlovehatealicex

I wish I hadn't met you

I wish I hadn't fallen in love with you

I wish I hadn't been there.

Your smile is what captivated me

Your sweet words are what mesmorized me

You're the reason I kept coming back.

I wish it hadn't happened that way

I wish I would've been certain

I wish things would've been different

You were the one least expecting it

You thought it was perfect

You didn't know that I wasn't whole.

I wish I could show you

I wish my apologies were enough to heal

I wish I knew what it was that I had expected.

You didn't completely know me

You were hurt

You thought that we were happy.

I wish I hadn't given up on you

I wish I would've known back then

I wish I could wrap my arms around you once again.

You never changed your mind

You knew that it was real

You decided to let go.

I wish I could've said it

I wish she wasnt't in the picture

I just simply wish.
