Pathetic Eyes

Pathetic Eyes

A Poem by xlovehatealicex

She wears a myriad number of bracelets

once a lovely girl filled with joy

the sun would shine right through the glass windows

the rainbows glowed to illuminate all colors

her rich skin was flawless

radiation full of beauty

And oh so suddenly

everything solemnly fell apart

Crouched down on the floor

she tries to keep her mind clear

her chest is searing in pain

and she shuts her eyes

Those windows are shot tight

and no light shines through

now her bones creep right out of her pale skin

she wears a myriad number of bracelets

they hide her only one secret

"Show me life,"

I long for the day that i'll let

the sun kiss my pale body
