Ham And Cheese Sanwich, sil vous plait.

Ham And Cheese Sanwich, sil vous plait.

A Poem by xlovehatealicex

All the spiderwebs are covered with dust

the black widows are done mourning

all have fled the scene

they hide as they drown in regret

regret of not finishing off her prey

she was so impatient

and spun thread of thick web

swallowed whole the pity of the little spider's death

left the heart on the web

unlikely story for a steady beating heart

the spiderwebs are covered with dust

how long ago did they flee?

yesterday?

the dust becomes the satisfaction of a wicked widow

she showers with glee as she soon leaves it all behind

spins a new web where she'll find new prey

instead human hands await her

they destroy her

no regret to a human

except for the fact that he didn't finish her off.
