Severely Lacking

I’m sorry for all the things I lack,

And the mistakes I made and can’t take back.

I’ve done nothing but try so hard,

And it never really gets me far.

Because I’ve never known how to let go,

It hurts me more than you could know.

I can’t make it through the day

without running out of words to say.

it gets so hard to stand up tall

When you’re on the edge ready to fall

I’ll do nothing but waste your time.

Because I’ve been crossing every line.

I’ve never been one to just walk away

But it’s the only choice I have today.

I guess I’m fine, I don’t feel a thing.
