This pain leaves me weak in the knees.
And when I try to stand, I fall so hard it hurts to breathe.
For every night you never called, and every night I couldn’t sleep.
Every time I cried, because you didn’t have the guts to say goodbye.
Every second I wasted wishing that you would change your mind.
Turns out, you were never worth my time.

Keep pretending that you don’t feel a thing,

I once said I loved you,
And I meant it every time.

Author's Note

I would like to add more to this, but it's difficult when you no longer feel that way. I've tried a few times, but everything I try to add just feels out of place. It's about a boy I haven't talked to in over a year and that feeling is long gone.
