I lost you

I lost you

A Poem by Meghan
"

a poem about my favorite uncle...

"

Your gone.
No goodbyes.
Just a lot of crys of despair.
I am holding you in my heart.
Never forgotten ,
But I’m falling apart

I cant hold it in.
I need you here .
You left me feeling scared.
Nobody comes on Sundays anymore.
I wish you were here again.

I’m barely hanging in.
I want you back ,
But you cant come back
‘cause your gone.

Ill see you again one day.
I am  scared for you.
I miss you more then anything
June was the worst,
And May thirty first was the best
Of my days
Because that was
The last day I saw you.

A touching poem.
This poem shows how much you value your uncle, how you appreciate the things he did, even the little ones. It shows the depth of your feelings and emotions for him.

This could also be applied to other situations. How you never miss a person as much as you do until that moment that you know that they are truly gone. How the last day you saw them is the most important day to you because you'll always carry that day in your memory and dig it up during times when you can't hold on to reality anymore, feeling lost and alone.

Simple but very meaningful. I look forward to reading more of your work.
