A love such as for a heavenly host

must not be confused with the most

I thank thee for words so lovely
Praising the beauty that you see
But this is because of the glory
Of The One who has created me

To be your guardian, your protector
Duties set forth by mine and thine Creator
Enveloped you are in these wings
May you feel His love among all things

And upon your forehead I rest
my lips for a kiss that's blessed
With genuine love and protection
From my Master who is Perfection

At times whenever I meddle
For you to be saved from peril
I was sent down by the Father
For you to never fear nor falter

To shower me with love is not wrong
Just don't forget to whom we belong
With courage I will stand by you
That you may feel His love --forever true!
