"Come live with me and be my love --"
said one passionate shepherd to his love
This time, this line I will use
After all, what's there to lose?

The most beautiful creature
Ah! Indeed you are ---
Your eyes, sea of cerulean
Your face, gentle as the warm sun

Your stature, blinding with light
Gets evil running with fright

'Tis such joy to walk with you every day
Knowing you'll protect me from harm's way
You let me rest on your heavenly wings
So I'd forget the most difficult things

Whenever I am in danger
You save me with every whisper
When life's a mess and full of stress
I find a way in your soft caress

In your strong arms I slumber
While I rest my head on your shoulder
You kissed my forehead, then hummed a song
