It was never a love meant for me... no, no it wasn't.
Was it ever really meant to be?... no, probably not.
Just keep on smiling strong... they won't ever notice.
I'll run away before long... they won't ever notice.
Say a few more goodbyes... and end turns to beginning.
Until then, I'll have to tell a few lies... they can't know the truth.
The things going on in this mind... they'll hate me for them.
I wish I could just unwind... yell reality to the world.
