Circles

Circles

A Poem by Xhiljola

It is easy to roam about in the darkness when no one is looking your way
You can do cartwheels and hand stands and trip and fall your first several attempts
Make a complete fool out of yourself, because, well, the darkness won't tell

But what about when suddenly, strange and familiar eyes begin to shed light on your night
And now you can no longer hide?

Do you run like a coward?
Cry like an infant?
Analyze like a philosopher?
Daydream like a romantic?
Reason like a scientist?
Explain like a manipulator?
Deny like a liar?

The world keeps spinning
Spinning
And spinning
It's so similiar to our brain
Have you ever thought of that?

Sometime good to get off the spinning world. Catch your breath and try again. I like the thoughts and question brought to life by your entertaining poetry. A excellent poem.

Actually I have thought of something like this. I like it. It makes me think about what I would do if that happens to me. Good job.

it is a human nature.... doing something when no one's looking, who knows what's that something... but we can't hide in the eyes of God....
