Distance

You get lost in your life, far away from here
In the dreams that hold your future,
A place where I won't be,
And slowly you forget, about loving me

But I have dreams too, yet not one of them lets me forget you
I'm haunted by your absence and find myself constantly feeling blue
There's not much I wanted to do
Only to love and be loved by you
 

When will you understand that love knows no distance?
It is not something for you to calculate
It's beyond our existence

Good poem expressing the tyranny of distance and the strength of love to conquer it. Well express with good poetic words. Ending could have been more powerful but a good read all the same. Thank you.
