Famous people

Famous people

A Poem by fernii
"

describing how loving famous people is a bit pointless coz it just makes me more jelous and angry because i want to be liek them and yeah thats about it.

"

All I want to be is a success,

All the famous people I see.

I'm jelous of them I confess,

Because they are so much better than me.

They have everything I could ever wish for,

I love everything about them especially what they do.

As soon as I see them I'm left wanting more,

I'm green with envy through and through.

Everything they wear looks brand new,

I feel like I need to look after myself more.

When people see them they all coo,

Their lifestyles I really do adore.

I hate admiring them people,

They are all I think about.

I know we will never be equal,

When It gets too much their posters I chuck out.

In a way they inspire me,

They make me want to do something good,

To be famous it would make me free,

But for now ill stay misunderstood.

I found this rather unique. It is different. I liked how you wrote this poem on the subject of comparing oneself to that of a famous individual. It's something that hasn't been seen a lot in poetry writing. That's what made me fascinated about reading this. It piqued my interest. When reading the first couple of paragraphs, you can already sense a lot of jealousy - as you already mention: "I'm jealous of them I confess, Because they are so much better than me." I think a lot of young people - especially people that have the same ambition to rise to fame like their idols, do feel a lot of jealous, when they compare what they don't have. It does bring a bit of anger to the core, wishing that you had a better life. It was very good and shows a really unique way of how young people show their own perspective one life. Very interesting. Well done

You are such a good writer everyone poem I read of yours is amazing. I love the first stanza especially and I feel exactly the same way you do about famous people they are so lucky and never appericiate what they have and their time is dedicated to seeking further fame and yet everyone including myself envys them. This poem is a effective as it covers a subject that is repeatedly approached and questioned.

I chuckled on this poem and yes it is a good write. Fame is what this person seeks and they believe that it will set them free when in reality fame is a prison that prevents a person from being them because the entire world is watching and ready to judge them for anything. I don't know if I want fame, or if I want to be super rich, I think there is more to life much more pleasures that not even money can truly buy.
