Then and Now

A girl who helped her sister, her sister left and she says how she feels about her.

I trusted you,

I gave you my heart.

I let my guard down,

We were never apart.

 

I helped you,

I gave you my room.

I let myself get involved,

We were sometimes filled with gloom.

 

I needed you,

I gave you my secret.

I let you in,

We were never in regret.

 

I relied on you,

I gave you my love.

I let you down,

We were never going to fit like a glove.

 

I love you,

You should know that.

No matter how much we fight,

Even when I act like a twat.

 

You moved out,

We hardly ever speak.

I think about you everyday,

Without you I feel weak.

 

I want you to be happy,

That's why I helped you get rid of Joe.

One day I'll see you again,

And I won't feel so low.
