If only she knew

A young girl at school who is not happy but her mum doesnt know it. Shes not perfect but her mum cant see it.

You think I have lots of friends

But I dont

You think Im passing all my exams

But Im not

You think Im happy

But Im not

 

You dont know me at all

You think you do but you dont

You never listen to anything I say

Hopefully you will one day

 

You go around acting like Im a birden

If you hate me so much then leave

Everyday infront of you I plea

But you just dont understand me

 

Your supposed to be my role model

Right now your nothing more than a stranger

You care more about your man

I guess right now Im not your biggest fan

This is intense and direct. The verses have a nice symmetry. Nice interplay between you / me throughout the poem. Mind your apostrophes! Blunt, powerful poem, good rhyme scheme.
