A Single WordA Poem by Richard MorimannoI often can't but wonder If it would be obsured A poem with a title But consists of one lonely word
No other letters exist To keep this word company It doesn't need a friend Alone it tells the story
The poem that is spoken of Is simple i must confess It starts with a title reading: "The Birth of True Unhappiness"
Now of course with any poem The reader will interperate their view Everyone will see a different story I can promise this is true
A million people will read This poem that has been writ And a million stories will be derived You can be sure of it
What will be combined With the title that lies above? The single word written underneath Is none other than "love"
