About my Grandma who recently passed away ):

You were my saviour and my hope
Helped me to escape
My refuge and my life-saver

Whenever he hurt me, you were there
Stood up for me
Like a modern day female Jesus

You helped me affirm my faith
Gave me self-respect, self-esteem
My reason for who I am now

But then you were taken away
Everyone around you shedding tears
Missing the amazing person that you were

You were loved, you will be missed
So many looked up to you
I’ll miss you grandma, you’re forever in my heart....
