Yesterday

 

Don’t think things are going my way today

I still don’t know

What happened to yesterday.

Seems sitting here’s a tragedy

I know I could be better

But I’ll stay here anyway.

 

They know that I’m gonna wait

Just like I did the other day

I gotta know, I’m sure that things’ll change

At least that’s what they say

About yesterday.

 

And all those things you take for granted

Go on and claim’em if they’re yours

You’ll lose’em if you never try

One day you’ll learn you can’t keep waiting

You gotta go and make some noise

You gotta do it now before die

Cus everybody’s gotta die
