Devil's DecayA Poem by RJAny real rockstar knows it's more fun to misbehave. On that note the Devil doesn't seem like such a bad guy, haha.Maybe I’ve a calling A calling to be fallen It might not be from heaven But I’m falling from grace And everything is nonsense A morbid lack of conscience I don’t think that I'll ever Wipe the dirt from my face See I remember rolling Like a ship across the ocean When I played the devil’s roulette put a spike in my vein Now the world is full of fire And I guess I might admire All the stoners and the junkies Who muddle through the decay I tend the gamble when I lose alot So now I’m sick of trying I just can’t handle all the lying That’s required from society When it’s horribly fake I guess I’m happy where it’s greasy Accept the nice and easy Try and own your demons It’s the un-American way I tend the gamble when I lose alot © 2014 RJReviews
