Push

Push

A Poem by M.S Solis
"

Inspired by my Grandma who currently has cancer

"

She played a different role in all our lives.

A loving mother, a sweet grandmother,

a strong sister, a loyal friend.

You could see the determination in her gentle, pale eyes.

Her helpless body against the ashy hospital bed,

getting weaker as time slowly passed.

We could all see her slowly fading away.

 Tears silently fell

as she stood in front of the bridge between both gaps.

We cherished every last moment we had with her.

Death wasn’t the end

and in our hearts you would always last.

Awwwh! I wish I could say I could relate, but I was too small to comprehend or remember my grandmothers passing.
This is very sad,yet somehow it is also optimistic. Good work(:
