I think we all have a little of this disorder running through us, especially on sites like this. We write hoping someone will enjoy our words, when they do it just increases the need for more and when they don't it feels so bad coming down. I liked this, maybe my meaning is not correct because this poem could be pointed towards many things. Up front is feels like it is speaking of a love interest, but many things can be a love interest. I hear the Who song in my head as I read, See me, Feel me, Touch me, Heal me. Great poem.
Lovely piece. At first it summoned up a certain type of woman in my mind and then I thought about it and it made me think about this site. In that we are all attention w****s posting up work hoping someone will read them and say something nice. So well done for a multi-layered theme.
I'm not a poet so I can't comment on structure and the like but it read very easily in my mind.

We're all attention w****s? Hmm, maybe. But that would invalidate my loner status.
I really love this. We as humans crave the touch and attention of others, especially that of our partners. Sometimes it is healthy, but other times it feels more an addiction and can make you ill when you do without. I really enjoyed this piece.
Poems that come out of my brain.
