DECAYING SNOW GLOBE WORLD

I disappear into the night

Blinded by a world that is corrupt

A world filled with spite

Isolation in myself

Disassociate from society

Wanting it to be just me

Hidden away in the dark

My books my companion’s

In this endless life

Watching as the world around me evolves

Like I’m immortalized in a little snow globe world

A little slice of my life frozen in time

Trapped in this decaying little world

That I have built around myself

In a way I think I am truly at peace

With this dead snow globe world of mine
