When You Have Everything You've Ever Wanted

When You Have Everything You've Ever Wanted

A Poem by oranges_melt

Worked my whole life for this day,

worked my whole life for this s**t,

and when there's nothing much to get-,

I worked so hard to be fit.

I've bought myself an apartment,

I've worked my way to the top,

I've succeeded through schooling---

If you think I live easy, try to get what I've got.

I've won all these trophies,

I've worked for this money,

if you think you can get me,

you best think again honey,

now that I've obtained all I've wanted,

I can sit and relax,

in the luxury of my riches,

though a home it may lack.

Now that I've lost all my friends,

and my family has left,

I'll rot away with the money

and riches I've kept.

Oh, how heartfelt! It's a terrible thing really, to lose what you have to get what you want, but I think you did "justice" to that...however horrible it may be.
