The Other WomanA Poem by oranges_meltrevenge.It was like a fairytale, the story's always told, a song that's whispered in my ear, as the pages up'n fold. I feel as if I've run this course, a lifetime worth of lines, you've been sweet to me along the ride, but baby they're just lies. I know about the other woman, heard her name's been told, I know about your lies and games, our love's been left to mold. I've been watching you play cards with me, against me, is what it's like, but I will it one day you will see, that somehow I will strike. I will bend the rules, and change the name, and maybe fool around. I will wave a wand about your head, I'll leave you no rebound. She will never know what hit her, as all 'the other woman' do, it's kind of scary how I pounce to make a living hell for you. Innocence is overrated, what you say and what you feel, is nonetheless a bloody lie over all that I reveal. Revenge is like a sugar, sometimes right and sometimes sweet, but no matter how I like my tea, I will never taste defeat.
