Senseless

it's nonsense

In a world where I can't believe anything you say

I seem to see I've lost my way

from trees to rust

from love to lust

there's no way out

feelings of doubt

this cycle is endless

our fighting is senseless

my dreams are of you

I know it's not true

we're breaking and flaking

I see that we're shaking

our mindless debate

we're lost in our fate

we're losing control

it's something you stole

the love that we had

it's really that bad

don't make up for this

or add on the stress

just leave me to thinking

to breathing and blinking

to running and sweating

to things I'm not letting

I see what we fear

is something too clear

just forgive and forget

that's one thing I'll bet

cuz we're high on our debt

the thing I don't get

and the one thing you gave me
