A Poem by oranges_melt
"

stolen soul

"

Blood's been washed,
my words are fading.

Though I'm dead, I'll keep on waiting.

I've heard their voices,
they're here for me.

They'll see what he had done to me.

They'll know he killed me,
stabbed my heart.

He left me dead right from the start.

They packed my body,
dressed my scars.

They threw me in their used cop cars.

They looked me over,
doubted hope.

They couldn't even call my home.

They didn't know me,
who was I?

This justice system's just a lie.

Unidentified, outraged.
Left for nothing, I'm amazed.

I guess the country feels no shame,
Cause I'm left here rotting with no name.
