This Rage

This Rage

A Poem by oranges_melt
"

im lost in this rage, im stuck in this cage.

"

Bitter remorse, I feel caught.
I'm locked in this cage.
I stuck in this rage.
I have no one to wait out on me.
I feel the Earth, it shatters.
It's breaking out from under me.
I see the light, but no one's there. No darkness, it's too bright. I can see the light. I see the light.
I see it...it's after me. It wants my flesh.
It's feast of death.
I can't feel the Earth, it's gone.
Much too long.
My heartbeat quickens, there's just no hope.
The world is lost, I feel the rain. It rains and rains, but no one's there. I feel the drops of acid cold and no one's there to claim me.
No one wants me.
I have this thing, it's in my arms, it sparkles bright.
These people want it. They will fight.
They will claim it, just not I.
I was not meant for love, no hope to see.
What kind of burden was I?
If no one came to claim me.

I saw something the other day, about someone not being claimed and still trying to handle it. I think it should be approached as...their loss...despite anything else you might feel...good luck :)
