Endless Misery

Endless Misery

A Poem by oranges_melt
"

sweet, touching.

"

It is love with you and me,
so much scar no one could see,
endless talks for days to come,
so I can sing this merry hum,

your clothes lie on the floor,
thumping heart comes from the core,
piano plays off in the distance,
just because of your existance,

music drifts across the room,
holding hands, await our doom,
this is endless misery,
hugging to your bravery,

debts are piling on the table,
life is built up on our cable,
bricks and stones and sticks are these,
holding out for love to sieze,

lovely madness, I try to hide,
your beating heart I find inside,
peace is hard to hold too long,
playing music moves the song,

this is endless misery,
living in our slavery,
to bricks and stones and sticks,
it's not something we can fix,

we're slaves to pounding thunder rolls,
here's my heart; please stitch the holes,
and patch your heart right on my sleeve,
as long as you swear not to leave.

A very interesting write about love fading away with life's unfortunate problems getting in the way. Beautifully expressed, a pleasure to read.
