Bury

Bury

A Poem by oranges_melt
"

in the midst of death, there is life.

"

The hardest part of living,

is knowing that you're there,

no matter what they say, what they do,

life just seems unfair.

Boyfriends that are cheaters,

friends that don't forgive,

nightmares that are crawling,

that rewind you to relive.

Bloody in the horror movies,

funny out of thinner air,

bullies try to fool you, thinking,

you're the last they try to scare.

Gangsters, rappers, non-believers,

people that don't live,

suicidals,emo,goth,

info that they give.

Lies and pain and sorrow too,

not humans, sorry sights,

born to break and die and live,

die alone in ganging fights.

Teachers that don't really care,

that don't give a damn for you,

F's and D's and nothing much,

they lie and rape and sue.

Why live to expectations,

that keep us on the wary,

when we can just give up on life,

and leave your ones to bury.

I guess that's why I hold on out,

and wait for better days,

sometimes I can hear the birds,

though sometimes they're delays.
