Twisted

Twisted

A Poem by oranges_melt
"

like broken dolls or toys.

"

I'm twisting, I'm turning, I'm not to be found,

whispers are pouring and gone with no sound,

chimes are now fading and lost in the wind,

the broken are weeping, the hating have sinned,

the mourners are mourning and death is too brief,

here are the people, will cry in their grief,

no sound is the blaring and tuning will die,

like toys that are broken so children will cry,

twisting and turning, my life is a mess,

turn on the lights so the guilty will 'fess,

holding your loved ones so we can all breathe,

crying and dying, leave us to grieve,

love is unfaithful, but where is God's lead,

what money to pay and the children to feed,

they have all died from the plaque of our lies,

like broken up dolls, the story of our lives,

twisting and turning, where is the call,

to open our eyes and hold from the fall,

closing our eyes when we need the aware,

so God will watch over and keep us beware,

keep us on running and holding His love,

so that He will watch over and catch it above,

He doesn't let go or walk from our anxiety,

He holds us up close and watches the society,

twisting and turning, He will come down,

keep us all strong when the children will drown,

scraping and cutting, those broken up toys,

like the circus and joy and the twisted up noise.
