Something I wrote a while back for my best friend, my ex, a fellow writer, and dreamer. He got me into writing, and is quite possibly my biggest fan. Thank you darlin! I love you!

A soul so lost, enduring fate
Praying it is not too late
Hope, the key to end the pain
Sunshine overpowers rain
A spark inside that brings it out
With you here now I have no doubt
Sinking once into a sorrowful abyss
Floating now in our heavenly bliss
I've lived so far and will continue on
With your help, it can't go wrong
So thank you, angel, for clearing rain
