The Truth :))

So this was the next poem I wrote in this series!

The Truth

I can’t stop smiling,
I can’t stop grinning,
I don’t think
I’ve ever been this happy.

My best friend’s
Alive,
And he’s okay,
And I found out,
He loves me!

He’s so awesome,
And I’m overreacting,
But he loves me,
So I’m happy!

We live so far away,
But that’s okay,
Because now I know the truth,
The truth that he loves me!

He really cares about me,
Like more than just a friend,
He admitted it himself,
Because he loves me!

Okay, so I wrote this when I found out that the guy actually liked me back.
I don’t even think this is considered a poem,
But yeah. I was ecstatic! :))

it is a poem, a very endearing, sweet, poem. i am so happy for you, i know what it's like to have a male best friend that your feelings for them are more than just friendly and it's a sort of awkward feeling to have because you are afraid of not (who isn't?) rejection but of ruining the friendship. great, enjoyable rhyming scheme, pleasant to read. feelings can be over-whelming, just take it slow, enjoy the ride, and whatever is obstacle is thrown in your path, keep writing. life happens, it's a roller coaster, as my Grandmother use to say to me: "Walk down the middle road" -- cause i am an extreme person, and the middle road will give you balance and moderation. i try to remember that, always, i know it's easier said than done, believe me LOL -- again another great write, Adriana, it's wonderful to see you blaze on this path of creativity of yours. keep it up, always :)
